Personally, I didn't have the best view of the replay as I was watching the race on an Ipad. My initial reaction was that the 4 caused the incident as I initially did not see the 1 push the 4 out into the 6. The replays I saw on the turn were tough to really see the 1 do the damage, but the 4 hitting the 6 hard was clear. I admit I was a bit surprised the 1 was taken down and by how long they looked at it, but I guess it makes sense based on what I missed.
Frankly, I was not railing against the stewards on this one as much as I was venting about my horse being taken out of the race, as it didn't matter to me whether the 1 or 4 caused the incident since I was singled to the 6 who had no chance to win after being pushed off stride and extremely wide. I was a little surprised that Castellano took the horse inside afterwards as it looked to me like the 6 was a little intimidated to try to pass where Castellano put him. Either way, my ticket was in the crapper.
