Corporal Jones... a wonderful horse who did not exactly thrive in HK (11 races, never hit the board. Not evenclose I'm sorry to say).
Back home in NZ he had been 2-3-1 from 6. His three 2nd place finishes were in the NZ Derby, the Waikato Guineas and the Championship Stakes (ed please correct me if I'm getting any of this wrong!).
This is the 2010 New Zealand Derby... an amazing all star cast and really not too many chances to post it, so (even though he was 2nd just a beautiful run)...
