I actually found the video while I was viewing the one that describes how the Equibase speed figure is made.

The equibase speed figure is known for comically screwing races up on occasion -- so badly -- that otherwise forgettable horses get their top figures of the year.

For instance ... this is the leaderboard for top Equibase speed figures in sprint races so far this year:



It's not hard to see which race got the most absurdly inflated figure.




They have Mr. Commons running the 5th fastest race in a turf route all year ... and in a race where he finished 5th no less.

After viewing the leader-board for either "dirt" or "turf" I'm left speechless!! Does D. Siegel think for one moment that "Equibase" sets the standard for pace/speed figures......... Two words come to mind after reviewing this "thief & delusional"
