Romney was in a private campaign dinner where cell phones are physically removed from the attendees, and they are told recording is forbidden. Obama was talking in private to the press (which isn't private).

Your outrage at Obama using the term "bullshi.tter" pretty funny, considering that Obama is considered by all around him to surprisingly be pretty profanity-free and polite, especially compared to George W (who had one hell of a potty mouth, all the time). And that doesn't even approach Lyndon Johnson, who talked profanity to the press all the time.

So I guess, in the words of Joe Biden, this wasn't "A big f*cking deal?"
