Obama policies did not cause that increase.
That increase would have happened even if McCain were president - don't you understand that?
A significant portion of the debt - the majority - is ongoing no matter who is president.
That increase includes ongoing payments to borrowing in the Social Security trust fund over the past many decades (which rises), interest payments on our borrowing over decades (which rise) and every piece of debt that was present the day before the current president took office, accumulated from Bush I and II, Clinton, Reagan, etc.
You cannot continue to blame this president for something he did not cause. Fact:
Obama has cut the deficit, and Obama's policies have added just under $1 trillion to our debt.
If this president were a Republican, his fiscal policy would be cheered for it's conservatism. Be fair, be objective, and vote accordingly.
