I know. I think Obama was so shocked when Romney changed 180 degrees from what he'd said the day before, he wasn't prepared for it. But he should have been prepared, and should have prefaced every single response with, "You know, Gov. Romney, that is not factually true"
Romney was clearly trying to goad Obama on with the barrage of deliberate lies and policy 180's, I'm quite sure of it.
Fascinating debate to watch for the tactical bullying of the moderator and the opponent. It was indeed a "Gish Gallop"
If you listen and watch the debate
again, Obama clearly comes off better, calmly trying to fact-check Romney's barrage of words.
But Romney, with his caffinated aggression and overbearing style, came off the winner in impression, absolutely. Too bad everything coming out of his mouth was false and made-up
When your own website can be used to fact-check you as false, and your own campaign comes out immediately after the debate and corrects your lies, you should know you've crossed the line.
The American public just doesn't seem to care about the lying with this guy.
