Well, yes. Of course. I was going to vote McCain (until he picked Palin), but one of the reasons I then voted for Obama because I believe in the DREAM Act. Both Obama and McCain supported the DREAM Act. Romney does not, his policies are very harsh IMO.
The Republicans in the House blocked any chance of DREAM Act passing. So Obama did an exectuive 2-year-deportation deferment for those that meet strict eligibility, gets these illegals "into the system".
Romney won't do that. Yes, you bet my vote goes to Obama, not Romney, for doing something I WANT our Congress/executive branch to do. It polls as a very popular position among American citizens, GOP, Dem and Independent, btw.
Politicians
should do what we, the citizens, want done. As Obama did here. That's why we elect them.
