Congress left on vacation without doing anything about helping the farmers.

So, the President made executive decisions. A President shouldn't be doing things that Congress has the responsibility to be doing through law, although I agree with doing emergency measures necessary to help citizens immediate suffering, of course

That Congress left us in the lurch, in the middle of the biggest drought in ages, and went on vacation should incite outrage at congress - which, for some reason, most Americans haven't even noticed.

Well, there were good shows on TV to watch instead, I guess. It's an American voter thing - not caring about ... what you are responsible for, assuming someone else will pay attention and cover your laziness.

Congress needs to be asked about waiving the ethanol mandate. It's their job. And yeah, it probably should be adjusted temporarily.
