No just making the point a 'poor' household making 20K here are equal to poor households making 5K there yet our children are considered poorer.

Also half of the median income of a rich country is not necessarily poor. Just as the bottom half of the graduating class at Harvard is not dumb. In fact it's considered middle to upper class in many of the other 'industrialized' countries.

Again the self-loathing for the country coupled with the entitlements some Americans seem to harbor is disgusting to me.

Perhaps poor Latvian mothers can give household budgeting lessons to ours?
