I am close to some Muslims who wager on races, love putting up money on fantasy football and can drink with the best of them. In America I think Islam, as practiced by the average person, is as it is in Christianity. Which I think, also frowns on gambling, and weren't the temperance advocates of the 19th Century Christian?

So while I imagine the pix six winner could be Arab in origin (or Irish or Japanese, or anything else), they likely would not be a devout Muslim. (Whether they claim to be is not my business. )
