Black Caviar was magnificent. One-in-a-lifetime quality. Only one horse rated above her in the world, Frankel. One more race in Australia in 2 weeks, then to Royal Ascot for the world Sprint Challenge June 23.
Fun to note that horse racing is a big deal for even the general public in Australia (see Melbourne Cup, the "race that stops a nation") - and the government had free buses to the track for the public. And handed out all those dotted-peach souvenirs, flags, silks, etc.
