Ike wouldn't be accepted in the current incarnation of the Republican Party at all. Either would Reagan, though. Reagan doesn't even meet the current GOP Candidate Purity Test (and yes, that's a real thing that the GOP has)

I'm waiting to see what happens to the current GOP. The old party regulars want to retake the party from the wingnuts-John Birchers for 2016, certainly.
