Hint: look up the definition of "first world country", and what factual parameters are used to measure that. Then post where we are, compared to the other first world country in those parameters, and get back to me.
But really, my comment was referring to the platform differences between the Republican and the Democratic parties. Sorry you missed that and went off an a screaming tangent.
