Could have he made the catch, yes, but it was far from a routine catch becuse of the poor throw.
As far as the interception goes some credit has to go to Blackburn for getting back in position after being beat and actually holding on to the ball. But the thing that really hurt Brady there was Gronk's injury and inability to go up and either make the catch or knock the ball away from Blackburn. That's a matchup/throw I'm sure Brady would try to exploit again if the chance was given.
I really believe that if Gronk is healthy the Pats win that game yesterday.
Eli really has matured, he just doesn't throw the ball up there anymore. He takes the sack as opposed to throwing a poor pass which could lead to a pick. He was tremendous the entire playoffs.
