Congrats to the youngest active Derby Trailer who must have skipped school Friday to post the big Day 1 total with Freddy the Cap the engine on the train! Herk had a huge Day 2 to nab 2nd while Cal had a balanced pair of efforts for 3rd. Prizes to the Top 3!
Thanks to the 30 or so who participated on short notice.. Was fun and showed how tricky the contest formats are when you have to balance choosing value v. the need to build a bank.
As shown below, just a third of the mandatories -- 5/15 -- had winners over $10 and only 2 longshots that ran 2nd produced $10+ mutuels...
