Thank you for that story! When I broke my knuckle riding, I didn't think it was serious because it didn't hurt much. Thank goodness my brother nagged me into seeing the doctor- I'm not sure I would have gotten full mobility back if I'd continued to ignore it. Just because I'm walking doesn't mean there's not an injury-- you're right; pain tolerance can make one ignore a lot of things. Whatever the Dr. orders, I'll take it.
I just hope she doesn't order a break from riding!
