I have kids and so read the first 2 but then the 3rd one... that is a wonderful book / film.
Have been hooked since and now if you don't have anything nice to say leave me alone cause my favorite person dies in this one.

i haven't read either series. my daughter read twilight, all three of mine read harry potter, which came out at the right time for them.
i'm not into the fantasy genre at all. my idea of good vampire reading encompasses bram stokers dracula and...that's about it.
one of my frightening moments at my last job was finding out that there are groups of people who are with 'edward' or whatever the other guys name is-an adult was telling me she was one of those people. yikes.
haven't seen any of the movies, have no intentions of doing so. just not my thing.
