I think that the DEMS should of stayed in the state, and had the vote. Maybe then, people would realize how important it is to vote in elections. Force them to change this back by voting these people out (recalling them etc.) In other words, give these idiots (that don't think the parties are different) an education on just how different the party ideologies are.
