I really wish he'd be retired. I know it's not terrible but he's 9, mandatory retirement is 10, he's done enough and it breaks my heart to say it but he's losing form and has been since well last April.
28/2/2011 Additional Veterinary Report>After the race, VIVA PATACA was examined by the Head of Veterinary Regulation & International Liaison. He said at that time he noted the horse to have had a bleeding medial quarter crack to the right front foot extending through to the coronary band. VIVA PATACA was again examined by the Head of Veterinary Regulation & International Liaison at the stables of Trainer J Moore this morning. He said at this time he noted the horse to be lame in its right front leg as a result of the injury to the right front foot. As previously advised, VIVA PATACA will be subjected to an official veterinary examination before being allowed to race again.
