Tina and I ran out to see 'The King's Speech' and 'The Fighter' over the last few days. Both outstanding and most deserving of the various Oscar accolades bestowed upon them Sunday. For me, 'King's Speech' was as good a film as I've seen in a very long time, and will have the enduring appeal a Best Picture requires. If you haven't seen it, try to get to it on the big screen as opposed to waiting for home viewing. It's the kind of film that needs to be watched in the intended setting.

I Have yet to see "The King's Speech" , but have seen "The Fighter".. Pretty good, but a bit too much for me at times. I was however glad to see Christian Bale win his first Oscar for he was simply fantastic in the part. (Good to see he put the weight back on
