I like Ooma quite a bit.
I paid $190 for the hardware, and $300 for lifetime service. As long as my hardware stays working, I have two free telephone lines with no monthly charges.
Plus, some really neat features. Like, for instance, I can add a number to a block list, so when any of these numbers tries to call, they get that message saying this number is no longer in service.

plus the call quality on ooma is indistinguisable from a land line.
i like the passive/aggressive endless ring for the calls i block. it wastes more time for the caller.
