Beyer is turning into the Pat Robertson of Horse Racing.
He simply can't make a point anymore without some incendiary comment out of left field that has little basis in fact.
Grunder is a bad ass, plain and simple. Admittedly,he's no Colmus or Durkin, but far from the worst.
I'd take him and his enthusiasm over about 50% of the dreck calling races in the US today. (present company excluded, of course
