Ah, I was thinking he had for some reason, but now I remember of course he didn't get the 3yo Eclipse, Prairie Bayou (RIP) did. You'd think a Derby/Travers winner would have a good shot at it, but consistency was not Sea Hero's constant companion.
He might've gotten Aiken-trained HOTY, but I'm not sure what other horses racing that year would be up for it. I had to go back and look at who was HOTY in 1993--Kotashaan.
