No way no how. I know this is hypothetical and I actually liked Frost Giant in here but he would not have beaten English Channel. Maybe that pinching cost him 2nd but EC was a winner no matter what.

Disgraceful excuse for a grade 1 race on what was supposed to be Super Saturday. Good prep for EC and you never know, any of the Americans (EC, Cacique and Tin Man) can win with a little luck.

And that bump at the start of the Arlington Million didnt cost EC a chance at the win in my opinion. Hes good but not good enough to chase down the Tin Man after allowing him to dictate the race. Bump or no bump, I doubt he was any better than 3rd best.

Would probably have finished second without the interference in my view, but only just ahead of the placed horses. Certainly no threat to English Channel. Frost Giant is well down the pecking order, not just in Europe, but in his own yard. Gawd help us if he's good enough to go close in a BC race!

There wont be much of a European presence this year. Hurricane Run may go if he comes out of the Champion is decent shape. Although the Arc-Champion-Turf proved pretty disastrous for the same connections' Montjeu. And he was a fair bit better than Hurricane Run.

Not sure what the plan is with Shirocco after his lifeless display in the Arc.

Red Rocks is reliable and should prove better dropped back to 12f, as I don't think he lasted home in the St Leger. He shouldn't really be good enough though.
