They are about $85. I think there is an excellent chance your foot pain will go away with the barefoot shoes.

I was sore all over with regular running shoes. My knees, feet, back and neck were all sore. Your whole body gets jarred up with regular running shoes. When you run with the barefoot shoes, there is far less concussion because you land on the balls of your feet.

As the article said, "By running on the balls of the feet or the middle of the foot, runners avoid more forceful impacts, equivalent to two to three times of body weight, that shod heel-strikers repeatedly experience."
