Thanks. I know it is a lot of money but the contest really only costs $2500 to enter. The rest is a live bankroll. On that part, there is no requirement that you lose the whole thing.
Plus, betting that kind of money, you don't have to be right alot to make a good score. Last year, I hit one race in the two days of any signifigance and still made a profit for the event.
They also give players a private room view a great view and buffet. There is no fighting the crowds and no lines to bet. It really is a first class event.
I say this all the time but, most importantly, contests in general are the best in racing as you don't face an onerous take out. This contest has no take out at all and additional money to seed the pot. If you can bet into pools with positive expectations like this all the time, the game would be much more beatable.
