I'm fine.
I'm up near the top of the North Island, and the earthquake was down in Christchurch, about halfway down the South Island. And luckily my friends that I stay with when I go down there are in England at the moment.
It's so amazing that no one was killed. The destruction is incredible. I go down to Christchurch every year for the 2000 Guineas and 1000 Guineas, and I can hardly recognise photos of roads I've walked along heaps of times.
