Realistically they had no money to replace Allen or Perkins so reupping Allen and signing Shaq are probably prudent moves in an attempt to recreate this years magic. Seriously the chance of all the major players being healthy going into the playoffs is a long one.

The question is, why didn't they go after Delonte West??? I know it might have cost them Brian Scalabrine and a second round pick in 2024 but thats a small price to pay for such a fine player.
