I need to preface this because I'm scared it'll sound preachy so apologies in advance.

I can understand the anger here and it's really easy for me to have an opinion since I've never been an owner BUT but but but I want to balance this out and applaud Mr. Grant.

A sad subsitiute? Yeah okay I understand anger at the situation, that maybe it's not enough.

It's something though and I appreciate anyone who takes the time, energy, money, love, whatever to give that extra something.

In their heart of hearts there's no way they would have allowed this, giving the horse away, if they'd anticipated this kind of outcome.

Of course it's easy to judge and say what should have happened.

I'm not pontificating here... all I'm saying is the moment he was alerted Mr. Grant volunteered everything he possibly could to help.

There is nothing more humanly possible right now, at this moment, that he can do.

Good for him.
