my point was Obama said he was a huge Sox fan, wore a Sox hat while throwing out the first pitch showing he's not a baseball player and yet couldn't come up with a single name. Carlos May would have been funny but at least a name.

The day Arlington hosted an event for the surviving medal of honor recipients still brings tears and chills as it did that day. No politicians were there The 40 or more that day in the winners circle, each were individualy introduced with a brief bio and applauded. They seemed to appreciate the overwhelming reception from the fans more than the fans appreciated them; it grew from there and became one of those unforgettable times in my life. Despite most in wheelchairs or using oxygen tanks they were a group of the most courageous, powerful men and you could FEEL it!
