Though that Rolex coverage- oh boy. There was a terrible fall during the cross-country portion, and I was glued to the TV, desperately waiting for an update. Then, on a hunch, I googled and realized the damn event happened three weeks ago and everyone came out of it okay.

Thanks for the heads up. I can watch without getting quite so anxious when it happens. Not that it's no big deal, but knowing it's okay let's you watch some things (like a Grand National on tape with horses falling everywhere) you otherwise might avoid. I went years before I tried to watch Ruffian's or Go For Wand's tragic final races. Haven't been able to go back to Pine Island's breakdown or the freak accident before Exogenous' Distaff, but I saw them on tv and have them recorded somewhere.
