i don't know too many people outside of wall street that bagged huge raises the last 12 months. i'm not saying 1.4% is great. but with close to 0% inflation, it's not meager either.

I got nothing for retirement and my job I have gone over a year now without a raise. Yet where my company is contracted to has had a profit the last two quarters and this year declared a .15 per share dividend. Also one of the big wigs of the company received over three million dollars in a bonus.
