The military and retired military deserve more than good health care coverage. Call me being greedy if you wish. i had a good year in 2009 and just found out my raise is 1.9%. i'm lucky though. i know quite a few people here received no raise at all.
i don't know too many people outside of wall street that bagged huge raises the last 12 months. i'm not saying 1.4% is great. but with close to 0% inflation, it's not meager either.
