OK -- let's say you're right. You're not paying for them in your insurance premiums. You're most certainly paying for them a lot more than that in taxation, and interest on huge sums of borrowed money -- at least for as long as China is still willing to lend it.
Of course, the welfare crowd doesn't care in any case because they don't pay for anything. That's left to us suckers who work.
