Following his ride on CALIFORNIA MEMORY in Race 9 at the Sha Tin race meeting conducted on Tuesday, 16 February 2010, Jockey M Chadwick was stood down by the Club's doctor who said that he had sustained an injury to his right shoulder.
Jockey Chadwick has today attended the Club's medical practitioners who have advised that whilst he may continue to ride track work, Jockey Chadwick is not clear to ride in races and as such, will not be declared for race riding engagements for the Sha Tin race meeting which is scheduled to be conducted this coming Sunday, 21 February 2010.
A further release will be issued at the appropriate time in respect of Jockey Chadwick's eligibility to accept race riding engagements for the Happy Valley race meeting which is scheduled to be held on Wednesday, 24 February 2010.
On Tuesday, 9 February 2010, Apprentice Jockey Keith M L Yeung injured his right shoulder when dislodged from a horse during track work. Apprentice Yeung has today attended the Club's medical practitioners who have advised that he is fit to accept race riding engagements for the Sha Tin race meeting to be conducted this coming Sunday, 21 February 2010.
