Anytime you have something to do with a horse who is racing, the excitement is high. ****, ask the groom of one of these horses how they feel when they run. Yeah, they get that 1% of the earnings when the horse wins, but its more than that. They are around these horses every day all day, and the feeling that they did a good job taking care of them is a big thing with them. They are as proud as can be when they win, ususally the biggest smile in the winners circle is the groom. Thats what i am saying, trainers often dont own a part of the horses they train either, but their name is on them.
