I just think its an exhibition and all the four ball and foursome stuff is just nonsense. I mean, what a joke. Americans are not taught the team concept and never have been. American players grow up learning stroke play, even in high school, with minor emphasis on even match play.
I mean, Tim, our golfers grow up and learn stroke play almost exclusively and then you want em to learn the fine points and strategy of four ball, etc on one day every two years? Blah. I love golf Tim, you know that. But the format of that whole thing just stinks, its hard to get excited about.

How much difference can there be in strategy, tactics etc? It's still a case of getting a ball in a hole in as few shots as possible. They're not playing a different sport here.
