I also think that Childress' timeout management and play calling in that game, and specifically the 4th quarter, needs to be talked about. And who takes responsibility for 12 men in the huddle? As bad as Favre's pick was, it should never have come down to them needing to throw on third down.

Part of that could just be the schedule. They play the AFC East and NFC East next year (1st and 4th in the Sagarin) as opposed to the AFC North and NFC West (5th and 8th in the Sagarin). That could easily be 2-4 extra losses.
