Wow, congrats on your big day yesterday. After that the Birds went out and spit the bit in Oakland. Then I saw last nights sports double.

Jets weren't supposed to be competitive yesterday, they were supposed to romp over a team in turmoil (playing with their backup in the 2nd half) especially after coming off 2 losses.

I guess a 59-0 Pats win brings the fans back out of the woodwork.

Headline in todays News "Broadway Schmo".

That loss made me forget about how bad the Giants were yesterday. At least the Giants lost to a 4-0 team on the road.

Jenkins out for the year will definitley hurt.
As far as Sanchez goes, I do believe he will be fine down the road. But I really think that Ryan dropped the ball yesterday. I know you don't want to hurt the kids confidence, but you also have to do what's best for the team. And he should have pulled Sanchez at some point yesterday. He even had a built in excuse with the weather. Could have spinned it on Sanchez's first game in any kind of elements. Could have even used Eli's performance in the playoffs as proof thet even expierenced QB's sometimes have trouble in that kind of wind. Most people would have probably given him a pass if Clemens came in and the Jets won. But instead he left Sanchez in, he threw a couple more picks and then they went on to lose the game. So Sanchez takes a bigger confidence hit and they lose a divisional game at home against a bad team. I think Ryan did a poor job with the situation.
I dont think he should have pulled him. 1. because it is NY and if you are going to commit to a rookie there you better be committed. The last thing you need is a QB controversy. 2. Clemmens stinks 3. Because as one of the previous posters said, they could have kept the ball on the ground and maybe mixed in some screens and still moved on the Bills.
