zenyatta may race again past the bc and into the spring. she could be bred and still run a few more months. if they have the record set by pepper's pride in their sights, she could very well be the one to break it. the chances of that happening if she leaves the usual suspects is somewhere between slim and none.

it isn't the route i'd like to see, but i believe that is the route you will see-regardless of what the fans want.

Agree with you guys 100%. Sheriff's quote after the last show he has Personal Ensign on his mind and losing to the boys doesn't get him anything. Maybe they really would consider it if the Classic contention continues to get worse, but I'm thinking they take the easy route- again- and try to retire her at 14-14-0-0.
