Being one race away from passing Personal Ensign's record and finishing undefeated is probably bigger to them than beating the boys. Despite what they say in that article though, after how cautious they've been for two years, I don't see them all of a sudden getting a heart when they are so close to the finish line and perfection.

There is nothing at all to gain running in the distaff, IMO. If he runs in the classic and beats a group of 13... She would have a solid chance at HOY.
