You have to figure a 3rd and 5th are the sort of guys that would be big time special teams contributers in the next couple years so they may be sacrificing a lot in the special teams department for the potential to upgrade on offense.

There are a lot of all-pros that were drafted in rounds 3-5. Not to mention the teams get 4 years of control for peanuts. Lots of great teams were built through the draft, I dont remember any being built by trades and FA signings. The only way this is good for the Jets is if the dog starts to play to his potential, realizes that he isnt a star and dosent deserve star treatment and leads the Jets deep in the playoffs.
