It's not even close.
A lot of people mention Brady because he won 3 Super Bowls ... but he won them with defenses ranked #1, #2, and #6 in the NFL in points against... while his offensive units ranked #4, #6, and #12 in points scored.
The defense was the Pats superior side of the ball in all 3 SB winning seasons.
Brady was just an excellent qb who, for a long time, had a great defensive machine to help him out.
The only overpowering offenseive team Brady ever played on was the '07 one when Moss was added. That team set the NFL scoring record ... but got David Tyree'd in the Super Bowl.
if Manning had Brady's defenses ... he'd have been unstoppable.

Lets take each individual championship year seperately Starting with the first one:
2001
6th offensive scoring 6th defensive scoring
19th total yardage gained 24th yardage allowed
Remember that Brady didnt start until the third game of the season. up until that point, the pats were close to LAST in total offense and scoring having scored a combined 20 points in the first two games (both losses). Coincidentally, Brady's first start was against (drumroll please) the Indianapolis Colts at Foxboro (a 44-13 win). Take those first two games away and the offense has a higher ranking overall. That year, that offense was every bit the equal of the defense and probably more important to the overall success. Remember, they were 5-11 the year before with the "genius" belichick and they were 0-2 before Brady stepped in. They were 14-3 including playoffs afterward. How much of an impact did Brady have???? Consider also...this was a first year starter with average talent around him.
