I don't have a problem with Funny Cide racing. There are plenty of horses out there that are racing at ages older than Funny Cide. The owners are the ones who are screwing up. I think he needs to be spotted better. I also believe that if he is sound then race him. I would race him if I was the owner. There are plenty of races out there for him that have good purses. However, I do not think it would even be all that competitive in some of them. New York breds are getting better and better each year from the top to the bottom. But good luck to Funny Cide--never was a big fan but as long as he is sound then why not race him.
