Would have loved to have gone...
Delta will sell me a ticket but can't assign me a seat. Sorry, but I'm not going to spend that much
on a ticket and then end up having to sit at the airport, hoping someone doesn't show up. or hoping someone will take a later flight in exchange for tavel vouchers/bribes.
