The Personal Ensign question is a bit before my time, but I do know Dehere won the Champagne, and was a big dissapointment BC day, like most of the NYers that day at Santa Anita. I might have to be included in with him though, because in Thunder Gulch's case I was between he and Talkin Man in the race, and sided with Smitty. Cost me some money to say the least.
