but he did also get 2 years house arrest (which hopefully will be a REAL house arrest where he cant even leave the house for work)... 8 years probation... 1,000 hours community service and a lifetime license suspension (no more cruisin drunk in the Bentley).
He also settled with the family so it doesnt go to civil court (wonder how much he paid up?)
Still should have got at least a year behind bars, but for some reason our country lets you get off big time if you admit guilt and feel remorse. I dont think admitting anything or being sorry should make a difference in ANY type of crime, but in the USA its a-okay.

they obviously didn't look at his record while at UT. he was in trouble a couple times there.
