Yes indeed, I am completely intolerant of the violent, extreme, ultra-conservative far right, or the equally radical, violent far left. Guess what? I tolerate the left, the middle, the consensus.

First, McCain was the nominee to appeal to a broad spectrum of the general public, Palin was chosen to ensure the 25% part of the GOP that thought McCain was "a liberal" (vbg) would be happy and come out and vote, rather than stay home as they repeatedly threatened during the year prior to the GOP Convention. It was the GOP's only chance.

Secondly, have you watched what Palin has said at her rallies? Have you SEEN the videos of what people intervewed at her rallies said regarding racism, and the lies they relayed? Have you seen the posters they held up? What do you think when Palin laughed and applauded and pointed and approved when she talked about Obama and people held up monkeys? That was clearly racist. Yes, it's scary.

If you insist upon describing anybody that doesn't agree completely with you and Dell is "a liberal", well, I can't influence that.

And do, outline "my liberal political views", as you know them so well. Where do I stand on government/universal healthcare? On the bailout? On taxation? On immigration?

Since you seem to adore Obama so much it is hard to believe that you could be a Republican especially since he has done virtually nothing that the party as a whole believes in and is moving the entire countrys system of govt and private industry towards the left. And since Obama won 53% of the poplar vote i would say that your numbers are skewed concerning the GOPs' %'s.
