Gee, I wonder what the reason for that could be..

Could it possibly be that Bernardini just makes them look like nothing? No, that couldn't be it. He's just lucky he runs into a whole bunch of horses, who, upon postrace inspection, are nothing.

More to the point, this is a tremendous 3-year-old class. Anyone who disagrees must have slept through the last four TC seasons. And Bernardini and Discreet Cat happen to be the two best 3-year-olds in a LONG time.. Who's better? I honestly can't say. Bernardini has accomplished more, but when I saw DC's comeback race in person, my jaw hit the ground.. There's no telling how good this horse is.

The bottom line is these are two OUTSTANDING horses and nobody can seem to enjoy it. Everyone wants to get caught up in who's better than who or who beat what.. Man, let it go. They're both otherworldly talent-wise..
I have said all along he's beat nothing, I said I would give him credit if he BGC, but BGC broke a leg in the race, so that's not much...If I would have known BGC would have broken a leg before the race, maybe I could have chimed in on that as well....
