Considering how much he paid for the horse, I think Jess Jackson's goal for the filly would be the Eclipse for HOY. A win in the Whitney or Stephen Foster (which Curlin ran in last year) and then the Travers would go a lot further than a win in the Delaware Handicap towards this Eclipse. The fact that Curlin was being pointed originally to the Arc de Triomphe last summer shows that Jackson can be ambitious when determining where to run his good horses.
